Seats
The majority of triple buggies are initially single pushchairs. However, some models can be converted to accommodate the seat of a second person or carrycot by converting adapters (these are typically more common in tandem buggies). Suspension
The quality of the suspension on a 3-wheel double buggy is crucial to how easy it will be for you and your baby/s to push. It is essential to have a smooth ride as babies can feel every bump that comes along the road. This is particularly true if you are driving on rough terrain, such as grass or unpaved roads. Certain models also have front wheels that lock to assist with maneuvering and getting over obstacles such as curbs.
Certain models come with air-filled tyres which are ideal for all-terrain riding, however they can be prone punctures. Make sure you have a spare set of tyres in the trunk. Others have foam or gel tyres, designed to take the bumps and can be less susceptible to punctures, however, you may find them to be a bit stiff and uncomfortable on your child's back should you decide to run.
